The sounds of Brazilian country music bounced through the neighborhood around the Somerville Community Growing Center. My neighborhood. Inside the verdant space this past Sunday, children and teens crafted cardboard-box oxen for the Festa Junina, a mix of religious and harvest celebrations. The smell of pão de queijo—Brazilian cheese bread—wafted through the air.
